The Swift River Bridge is located near Conway, New Hampshire. It was built in 1870, replacing one that had been built in 1850. The earlier bridge was washed away in an 1869 flood which carried the bridge downstream crashin into - and destroying the Saco River Bridge. Timber from both destroyed bridges was used in the construction of the 1870 bridge.
