There are any number of things to do when visiting Lake Tahoe. In addition to hiking, boating, and Winter skiing, you can also go on trail rides. On our last visit, we saddled up and headed for high ground. Along the way, on this sunny Spring morning, I stopped to make an image of the variety of vegetation that this ecosystem supports.
