Seen from the air, the Muldrow Glacier flows from the north side of Mount McKinley (Denali) to the Eielson Visitor Center in Denali National Park. A sense of scale can be deceiving in Alaska. Nearly a mile wide, and over a mile deep in places, this massive glacier is dwarfed by the 14,000 foot peaks that surround it.
